La Bouchere Gran Prix

The La Bouchere Gran Prix was held in New Orleans for a number of years in the early 1970's, and was a very popular and well-promoted event for its time. This photo, taken by Bob Perrin, shows the riders as they approach the start/finish on Chartres Street with St Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square in the background.
